Welcome
Hello, Let me introduce myself. I was raised in the southeastern part of the United States, more specifically the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina. I consider myself an American southerner whose parents are from Colombia, South America. I currently reside in Salt Lake City finishing up my studies at the University of Utah in a major in exercise and sport science with a minor in military sciences (ROTC). I am serving in the Utah Army National Guard trying to give back to this wonderful country that has helped my parents and family reach their dreams.
Before I went to the University of Utah I attended a small little college in Due West, South Carolina. I went to Erskine College primarily to play soccer under a Division II soccer scholarship but realized that there was more to life than soccer and served a two year L.D.S church mission to Uruguay, S.A. after my first full season playing. That was a wonderful time of my life serving the people of Uruguay. My priorities now in my life are to develop my relationships with my family and friend, finish school, and further my career in the Army National Guard.
Tourism in general has been a challenging topic for me to grasp due to the money involved both by the tourist and by the nation promoting tourism. Due to the amount of money politics always sneaks into the conversation. With the ever changing climate of world relations we must take a look at what this causes to the beauties of tourism internationally.I just want to welcome you to my blog and hope you enjoy what you read.
